Day 94: Peony Garden, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, Kamakura

Day 94

I need to take lessons from the gardeners of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu – not only do their peonies flower in the winter and spring, but they are large and full and beautiful.  This is, without a doubt, one of my favourite places in the world.

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1.  Setting: Aperture Priority.  Aperture: f5.6; Shutter: 1/500; ISO: 100.

*My peony had a bud but no flowers last year (although it is growing back).
