Day 143: The Drunk at the Party

My hotel room in Dundee looks out over the outside seating area.  The chair at the back just made me think of the person who needs propping up at the end of the evening… A fitting metaphor for evenings in Dundee!

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1. Setting: Aperture Priority. Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/20; ISO: 1600.  Macro lens.

  1. I like the colours in this shot, and the shape the chairs make around the table. Curiously what really “makes” this shot for me is the upturned flower pot on the table. It’s a nice visual element that draws my eye roughly to the brightest part of the photo. Well done!

    • Thank you very much for your comments – I love hearing what other people think of my pictures. I’m glad you liked this one. It was an opportunistic view from a hotel window, but one I’m very pleased with!
