Day 144: The Tower Building, Dundee

Day 144

The Tower Building at Dundee University is the first tower block built in Dundee, between 1958 and 1961.  It’s now a listed building, and is unusual because the building materials used were stone and wood, to reflect the building materials traditionally used in Dundee, rather than the usual modernist concrete.  Lots of people hate it, but there is just something about it…

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1. Setting: Aperture Priority. Aperture: f3.9; Shutter: 1/1250; ISO: 200.
