This morning the architecture librarian and I went to have a look at the Degree Show at the Liverpool Art School, LJMU. In amongst the Fine Art, one piece stood out for us in particular – a tree with (what I have called) story fruit on it – round balls made from the pages of books, with some windfall book fruits around its base. Perhaps it appealed to us because we work in the library… Unfortunately it seemed to be the only piece that didn’t have a caption to tell us whose art work it was! If you recognise it, we loved it.
