Day 188: Strawberry Plants, Ancoats

Day 188

It seems appropriate on this hot sunny day, with the Wimbledon men’s final on, to take a picture of some strawberries.  These ones have a bit of a way to go before they’re ready, but should be red and juicy soon.  For once this isn’t a plant from my balcony – these ones are found in the bogeys / carts near St Peter’s Church in Ancoats.  A nice cheery way to brighten up an otherwise dull square.

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1. Setting: Aperture Priority. Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/1000; ISO: 100.  Macro lens.  Cropped in iPhoto.
