Day 236: Tweedidermy, The Urban Market, Salford

Day 236

Today a new monthly Urban Market set up in Greengate Square, Salford (just behind Manchester Cathedral and Harvey Nics).  I’m a sucker for a market, especially one selling crafts and fine foods.  It was quite small, but had some wonderful stalls.  Favourites for us included Flour Water Salt, an artisan baker from Macclesfield (why aren’t they nearby us all the time?!), Lola Espana, a stall selling Spanish Foods and a great pork pie maker (who’s name we didn’t get) who sells delicious pork pies in Scotch pie cases!  I also liked the look of the Tweedidermy ‘stuffed’ trophy deer heads made out of fabric by Tweed Queen – if only we had a suitable hallway!

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1.  Setting: Aperture Priority.  Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/250; ISO: 100.  Macro lens.
