Day 237: River Irwell, Manchester & Salford

Day 237

There is a river that looks as though it runs through Manchester, but in fact acts as the border between Manchester and Salford.  From where I was standing on this bridge, the River Irwell flowing below, Manchester lies on the left, Salford on the right.  Two cities so close together that only a river keeps them apart.

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1.  Setting: Aperture Priority.  Aperture: f5.6; Shutter: 1/320; ISO: 100.
