By the time I got home tonight the light was starting to fade and I hadn’t managed to take a photo yet. I don’t have a decent flash for my Pen, so I had to do what I could with the little light there was… This did mean a very open aperture, crossed fingers and desaturation, with the contrast pumped up, to create a more ‘grainy’ look and make the most of the light that was on the white petals. It nearly worked, but I do feel like this could have been a really beautiful photograph in better light.
Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1. Setting: Aperture Priority. Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/25; ISO: 1600. Pancake Lens. Cropped and desaturated in iPhoto.
