As it’s the last weekend of the month the Urban Market was back in Greengate Square in Salford. It’s odd to think of it as being in Salford as it’s just behind Harvey Nicols and the across from Manchester Cathedral, but that’s just how snug these two cities are. One of the highlights for me is seeing Ox Eye Daisy‘s little trailer beach hut with all their lovely plants and planters. Last month, at the first market, I got one of their balcony planters (which contains the lovely purple pansies from Day 246). I don’t have much room left on the balcony at the moment, but maybe next month I’ll find something else from Ox Eye Daisy to fill the space the courgette’s will leave.
