Day 272: Conker Shell

Day 272

I went for a wander this afternoon as the day was so nice.  What I forgot, however, was the spare battery for my camera.  I managed a few pics though – including this one of an upturned and empty conker shell.  It was by the canal and it could easily have been a creature from the deep, crawled out of the canal (if spiky sea creatures lived in the canal!)

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1.  Setting: Aperture Priority.  Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/1250; ISO: 100.  17mm pancake lens.
