Day 285: A Really Good Sandwich

Day 285

Lately we have been doing our bit to support our local economy by trying out local independent restaurants and coffee shops.  We’re lucky that we have a lot of great places on our doorstep in the Northern Quarter in Manchester.  Today it was Salvi’s Mozzarella Bar at the Corn Exchange, a tiny little Italian place with an amazing looking deli at the front.  I had a lovely Carbonara, but Ray had a ham and mozzarella sandwich which was really very good – all crusty bread, tasty mozzarella and good ham.  Definitely recommended and we’ll definitely be back.
