Day 296: Tower, Hallé St Peters, Ancoats

Day 296

Around 5pm this evening the rain clouds moved and let some glorious Autumnal light in.  The tower of Hallé St Peters, home to the rehearsal space of the Hallé orchestra, always looks rather spectacular in that sort of light.  I haven’t had to do anything with contrast or colour tonight – it’s all natural!

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1.  Setting: Aperture Priority.  Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/640; ISO: 100.  17mm Pancake Lens.
