Day 297: View from the Train

Today I left work at 3 and got on a train to come North, to visit friends for the weekend.  The views along the West Coast mainline can be really quite lovely as you glide through the hills to the edge of the Dales and the Lakes up into the rolling hills of the Scottish lowlands.  It was so clear today which made it all the more beautiful, although shooting through the window of a speeding train hasn’t done it the best justice!!

Taken with my Olympus Pen EP-1. Setting: Aperture Priority. Aperture: f2.8; Shutter: 1/1600; ISO: 200. 17mm Pancake Lens.
