In my tour of Christmas markets (well, that’s what it feels like), I went out to see Altrincham Market today. I like a good market and I am constantly in search of a really good one within striking distance of home. So far Treacle Market in Macclesfield tops my poll, but Altrincham Market wasn’t bad – a nice little local market and definitely better than most of the ones within Manchester central. A particularly interesting feature today was seeing Joseph Hartley potting live (as well as selling his wares). Which was very cool.
