Incheon, to the west of Seoul, is an odd little place. Well, what we saw of it anyway! A large port it has a mix of architecture (although according to the Modern Architecture Museum, most of it has burnt down at some point), a China Town, and a large statue of General McArthur in ‘Freedom Park’. There is also a weirdly aggressive monument to 100 years of friendship between Korea and the US, erected in 1982. It didn’t seem very friendly to me.
